Otis loves a tower. He likes to make them out of blocks, but any available building material will do. Cups of milk, cars and other toys are regularly co-opted into his teetering works of art.

Of course his skills aren't limited to just one form of tower. The objective of the 'tall tower' speaks for itself and the 'bridge tower' is utilised as a tunnel for various cars to pass under.

Maybe Otis will be the next Frank Gehry...

Or LeCorbusier?

This last week we have attended a couple of birthday parties, both for gorgeous girls celebrating turning two!
We kicked off on Friday with a lovely do for Nessie (sorry - I forgot to take a camera so no photos of that one). The kids marked the occasion with some dancing, singing and of course, gorging on party food. Otis was very excited to meet Archie, a little boy with whom he shares a love of all things vehicular.
This morning was a second birthday bash for Asha, who had a fun time showing the kids her sandpit and trampoline.

Milla was on hand to help with the candles.

Otis had fun with a set of wooden vegetables - here he contemplates a potato.

We'll be enjoying another round of fairy bread in a couple of weeks when Lulu turns two.

Otis has been singing happy birthday to himself, and talking about parties a bit lately in preparation for his own birthday in a month or so. We're planning a smaller affair this year, with just his kiddie friends and a cake in the shape of a train. Toot toot!
