I can't tell you how excited I am that it's almost christmas. I baked these to celebrate.

Otis is very helpful in the kitchen. He's always very eager to check out what's stirring in the mixer, what's bubbling in a pot or what's happening on the chopping board. His helpfulness usually takes the form of taking things out of the cupboards, rolling them around the floor, and then putting them somewhere new - it's not unusual for us to find tins of tuna in the bathroom, or potatoes in the fruit bowl!

This year we've decided to get a REAL tree, very exciting. If you're in Melbourne you can order one from Oxfam too, and help fund their programs against worldwide poverty and injustice.
