now, one of the most keenly considered questions of the last few months has related to otis' hair - will he follow the straight path of his mother or will he be blessed with the beautiful curls of his father?

well, this morning may have provided a glorious glimpse into the future. it is up to you to judge but i am pretty sure that there is the definite beginnings of a curl right there in the middle at the front. certain parties have been disparaging of the alleged curl and have even gone so far as to suggest that the curl was the product of some devious plan involving the discreet application of moisturiser. i can categorically state there were no performance enhancing substances involved in the curl.

in this image otis can be seen demonstrating his love for mum. unsurprisingly, otis also loves eating. but if you look, and i mean really look, there is a lock of hair that rises from his head before gracefully turning back into the beginnings of a curl.

in another front on shot the curl is contrasted nicely against a red background.

this side on shot provides a clear view of the curl's arc, and its inevitable trajectory back towards the head.

maybe the curl will be gone tomorrow - as otis sleeps the status of the curl is unclear - maybe the curl will never come back, but its moments like these that teach us all the true meaning of hope.
